A guaranteed pro bono role working with a dynamic startup during a 6-9 month placement allows you
to gain the skills and knowledge needed to support founders and senior leaders. Boost your CV and increase your chances of landing further portfolio roles.
You will be supported throughout your placement by your mentor who will offer advice regarding the
business and feedback on your performance as an advisor. There is the opportunity to continue working with the startup beyond the duration of the placement if mutually agreeable.
Advisory and NED placements will typically last for 6-9 months, while fractional placements tend to be delivered over a more focused 2-3 month period. During this time you will acquire the skills, experience and knowledge needed to advise and support founders and senior leadership teams within the startup ecosystem. The placement is designed to help build your CV, providing demonstrable results and examples to draw on when seeking further roles to build your portfolio.
Access to up to 60 - 80 roles each month. Positions are a mix of pro-bono, equity and paid. Connect with startups specifically matched with your interest and experience through the lens feature and create a pathway to paid roles upon completion of the programme.
In conjunction with the education and academy resources, members also gain access to the lens and roles sections of the site. Within lens, Connectd members are able to find matches based on their interests utilising
the platform’s smart matching algorithm. Matches are ranked as strong, medium and weak depending on both the company's preferences and your own preferences.
