While the worldwide pandemic saw seismic shifts across the business world, somewhat surprisingly, within the startup sector the effects have been overwhelmingly positive.
Entrepreneurs and investors had to adapt to the unprecedented conditions created by the pandemic, and this has led to them embracing new and better ways of working together.
Traditionally, a good network and industry connections could be the difference between startup success and failure, but the results of this study showcase the UK startup ecosystem at its agile, entrepreneurial best. What has emerged are the green shoots of hope for greater diversity across gender, ethnicity, and location, creating a more democratic and inclusive investment landscape.
